I am glad that you are here. It was the invisible hand of God that has brought you here. He has a plan for you. By reading and studying His word, the Bible, you will learn more about what that is.
Just a few simple steps
You cannot earn your salvation as it is a gift from God. However, you must take action to receive it. Just because something is free does not mean that no effort is required on your part to obtain the gift. This can be easily understood with a simple example. If I have a gift for you and told you that all you have to do is pick it up. You understand that it is free. However, you must make the effort to go get it. You have not earned the gift by picking it up. The same principle applies with God’s gift. First you must know that He has a gift for you. If you don’t read or hear about it, how will you know about it? Then you simply need to follow his instructions to receive it.
